Many Samsung users are familiar with Samsung account session expired pop up message, which prompts users to input password of their Samsung account. Once a month, you may be required to reinput your password as a security measure. But it can be a real nuisance if the error message appears on your task bar or comes out of nowhere while you are busy with other apps. One way to fix this Samsung account sessions expired error message is to disable cloud syncing. Here are the methods or possible solutions to get rid of the Samsung account login prompt:
This error is common for all Samsung smartphones or tablets running latest Android 6.0 Marshmallow or Android 7 Nougat operating systems. Example- Samsung Galaxy S7, S7 Edge, S6 Edge, Galaxy Tab A and so on.

While opening the default messaging or texting app on my Android smartphone, some users reported an error "unfortunately messaging has stopped" which caused the messaging app to crash every time users wanted to send an SMS or view incoming text messages. This is a common Android app bug which can be solved by applying some simple steps such as restarting your device, app clearing or installing a third party mobile messenger app. If you are one of those android users affected by the unfortunately messaging has stopped error message, here are some possible fixes:

How to fix Unfortunately messaging has stopped error on Android devices - smartphones and tablets

Fix for "Messaging has stopped" error message

Method 1:  Restart device

This is the simplest method but one that is most overlooked. Sometimes simply restarting your phone can fix the messaging has stopped error.

Method 2: Clear cache and data

  1. Go to Settings >> Apps >> All
  2. From the list of app select "Messages" (or any default app you use for texting on your phone)
  3. Tap "Clear cache" and "Clear Data"
  4. Now restart device and open your SMS or messaging app and send a message as a test

Method 3:  Installing third party, alternative SMS/messaging app

If it is your pre-installed or default messaging app that is crashing constantly or popping up error messages, it is time to try a third party messenger app. I am currently using Textra, which is a highly customization alternative to the default Android SMS app.  Just install such app and follow the onscreen information to set it as the new default messaging app.

Method 4: Check for system updates

A lot of the times such app crashes and errors start to appear after you've update your operating system to a newer version. This means the error is caused by a bug that was left unresolved in the new update. If that is the case, your device manufacturer will release another update soon to fix any issues in the earlier release. So head to settings >> systems >> device info >> check for updates. If there is any new update, install it.

Some blogs have also suggested going to Safe Mode, but I don't see how that fixes this issue. So we will skip that extra step.

Due to error 501 in Google Play Store Android users cant install, download or update many apps and games on their Android phones or tablets. This problem is caused most of the time if you have multiple apps installations going on in the Play Store. In such case, cancel all the app installations and download them one by one. If you are a custom ROM user, you may get the 501 error code while updating Google Play Services. This is caused because you flashed an incompatible Gapps package or a buggy OS. In such a case, reflashing the OS + Gapps package could be the solution. In my case, the Google Play Store error code 501 popped up while installing an app update. Here are all the possible methods to fix Android error 501 in Google Play:

Android Fix: Google Play Error Code: -501

Google Play Store Error 501 while updating a Google app

Method 1: Reinstall

Simply cancel the installation process and try installing the app or game. If that didnt fix it, uninstall the app/game completely and download it again from Google Play Store.

Method 2: Uninstall updates for Google play Services

This method will probably solve error 501 message while updating Google Play apps like Google Play Services, Google +, Google Play Games, YouTube, Gmail and so on.

  • Go to Settings >> Apps >> All
  • Scroll and select Google Play Services
    • Tap Uninstall updates and clear data
  • Also,  select "Google Play Store" and tap "Uninstall updates"
  • Again, go to Apps >> All >> select Google Service framework
    • Tap Clear Data
  • Open Google Play and download or update an app

Method 3: Resetting App preferences

Resetting app preferences will restore default settings for your apps. This wont delete any data from your Android device.

  • Go to settings >> Apps
  • Press menu or the three dots on the top right
  • Select Reset app preferences >> Tap OK

Method 4: For custom ROM users (Cyanogenmod, Paranoid Android, SlimROM etc)

First try reflashing your OS and then a compatible GAPPs package. Go to recovery and wipe cache partition. See if that solved the 501 error in Google Play. If that didnt work, you will need to entirely wipe the device (factory reset) and then run a fresh installation. For the fresh reinstallation try a different ROM and a new Gapps package. Reboot into recovery and proceed to flash the new zip files. That will almost certainly fix the 501 error message while updating Google Play Services.

Thanks for reading. Hope one of the above methods fixed Cant download app due to error code -501 in Google Play Store issue. If you have alternative solutions please suggest them in the comments.

The app could not be downloaded due to an error 400 is a Google Play Store Error affecting Android smartphones. Another format of this error is something like this- Unknown error code during application install 400. This issue is caused when you try to update or download app on a slow internet connection (Mobile Data or Wi-Fi). So make sure you have a working internet connection.  In my case, the error was resolved automatically on second try. If you are still getting the error while updating or installing apps in Google Play, try these quick methods to fix Google Play Error 400:

How to Fix Installation-Update Error 400 in Google Play

Method 1: Cancel download and re-install

This is a simple method.  Cancel the installation mid-way and then retry installation or update in Google Play.

Method 2: Disconnect and reconnect to a different network

The error is very frequent in slow networks so try to connect to a different Wi-Fi or use Mobile Data LTE/3G. After connecting to the new network try to install/update your app or game.

Method 3: Clear Data and Cache of download manager

(Note: If you have any important files in the Downloads folder, copy it to another location)
  • Go to Settings >> Apps >> All >> Select "Download manager
  • Clear Cache and Data

Method 4: Clear Proxy

  • Go to Settings >> Wireless & networks >> More >> Mobile Networks >> Access Point Names (APN)
  • Your mobile network's wap (networknamewap) must be selected by default >> Click it
  • Select "Proxy" >> Clear/delete the address number
  • Select "Port" >> Clear/delete the port number
  • Now open Google Play and try to update or download the app that was giving the error

Looks like they have some good 'new' for us soon
Most of the users who have recently updated their CleanMaster app are getting Root Access Failed error while using the Autostart Manager feature. The Autostart Manager is supposed to save precious amount of system storage by stopping apps that start automatically in the background.  When you enable this feature you are asked to grant Superuser permission to CleanMaster but even after giving the root access a failed to grant root error pops up, which asks you to go to Superuser and again grant permission to CleanMaster. Basically youre stuck in a loop every time youre trying to use Autostart Manager.  This issue has already been acknowledged as a bug by CleanMaster, on their Google+ page, and theyve promised some solution in the upcoming 5.9.9 update. Until then you can try some possible fixes for CleanMaster Autostart Manager  failed to grant root recommended by various forums:
  • Open Google Play Store >> Search SuperSU >> Install Update if its available
  • Open the updated SuperSU and grant permission to CleanMaster
  • Open Google Play Store >> Search CleanMaster >> Install Update if its available
  • Open the updated CleanMaster >> Phone Boost >> run AutoStart Manager feature
If nothing works just wait for CleanMasters 5.9.9 update where theyve promised a fix. If you're found any other solution or fix for this issue please let us know about it in the comments.

Update: I changed my custom ROM to Cyanogenmod 11 and now the App Manager seems to be working fine. This may be a ROM incompatibility issue. So, you can try flashing an updated ROM on your device.

Many Android 5.0 Lollipop users are reporting error 905 in Google Play Store while installing or updating apps/games. Here's the error message: "app" could not be downloaded due to an error (905). I am not exactly sure what this error code means but it may be caused by poor memory management or memory leak on a buggy OS. I got the Google Play error 905 while downloading an app on my phone that had recently received Android 6.0 update. The download bar would show progress but it would stop downloading right at the end and then this error message would pop up. Sometimes the error would appear right after tapping the "install" button in Google Play Store.

Android users are getting this error mostly while downloading large apps or games like Microsoft Power Point, Microsoft Word, Excel, Asphalt 8, Monument valley, Hearthstone Heroes of Warcraft, Mortal Kombat X etc.  After some research, Ive found some quick methods to fix error 905 in Google Play Store. These fixes should also work for  devices running Android 4.3 JellyBean Android 4.4 KitKat, Android 5 Lollipop or  Android 6 Marshmallow.

How to Fix error 905 in Google Play Store Android

Method 1: Keeping screen on during app update or download in Google Play Store

  1. Go to Settings >> Display >> Screen timeout (Sleep) >> Keep screen turned on (or set timer to the highest possible value)
  2. Open Google Play Store >> Download your app that was causing error 905
  3. Do not go back or close Google Play Store until the download and installation is completed.

Method 2: Close background apps

  1. Sign out of apps that run in the background
  2. Go to Settings >> Apps >> Running >> Check apps that are taking too much MB or memory >> Stop or sign out of these apps
  3. Open Google Play Store and try to install/update app

If the above methods didnt work, try the one below

Method 3: Uninstalling updates for Google Play Store
  1. Go to Settings >> Apps >> All Scroll down till you find Google Play Store
  2. Select Uninstall updates Open Google Play Store >> Install or update the app
  3.  Note: Your Google play Store will automatically update later but you will no longer get the 905 error.

Common devices experiencing this error include Nexus 7, Nexus 5, Galaxy S4, S5, S6, HTC One, Xperia Z2 etc. If youve managed to solve  Google Play error code 905 through other alternative methods, let us know about it in the comments. If any of the above method worked for you, hit the like buttons.

A lot of users are reporting app could not be downloaded due to an error 403 in Google Play Store while trying to update and install apps/games. This error has been around since very long and most of the time the 403 error code automatically resolves within few hours or a day. What is Play Store Error 403? It actually means your download or update request was forbidden by Google Server because of something called "traffic shaping. There is no single fix for this error that will work for everyone. Some folks have solved it by doing a simple cache and data clearing and others have done the good old remove/add Google account method. Here are the best possible solution and fix for Google Play Error 403 on Android smartphone and tablets:

How to fix Error 403 in Google Play Store during app download, update & installation

Chrome could not be Downloaded due to an error (403)

Example Error Formats:
Update for "Gmail" could not be downloaded due to an error. (403)
"Clash of Clans" could not be downloaded due to an error. (403)

Note: Error 403 also affects Bluestacks Android App Player for Windows as Bluestacks can't access Google Play Store servers due to this error.

First Method: Clearing Cache and Data

This is the most widely used method:
  1. Go to Settings >> Apps >> All
  2. Scroll down and select Google Play Store >> Clear Cache and Clear Data
  3. Again go to Settings >> Apps >> All >> Select Google Service Framework >> Clear Cache and Clear Data
  4. Go back and open Google Play Store app and try to install/update your app or game.

If above steps didnt work try the one below.

Second Method: Removing and re-adding Google account

Note: This method has worked for most users. The same steps are used to fix error -101 in Google Play Store.
  1. Go to Settings >> Accounts >> Select Google
  2. Select Gmail account linked to your Play Store
  3. Press your menu button and click Remove account
  4. Now reboot android (optional)
  5. Go to Settings >> Accounts >> Add Account >> Select Google >> Add back your Gmail account
  6. Go back and open Google Play Store app and try to install/update your app or game.
If above steps didnt work try the one below.

Installing Alternate Android Market Apps (not really a fix)

This 403 error is likely to get resolved in your next firmware or Play Store update. If youve tried all the methods above and have also updated your Android operating system to the latest available version, you can try alternative android marketplaces like Amazon App Store , Samsung Galaxy Apps and Mobogenie Market. You'll have to download the APK installation file from the link and then manually install it from you Android device. To allow APK installation you'll have to enable app installation from "Unknown Sources" by going to Settings >> Security >> Enable "Unknown Sources".

The 403 error is a Google Server error so you wont get this error from alternate app stores. You can use these marketplaces side by side with your Google Play Store and then switch back to Play Store after it gets fixed. Some of these stores also great deals on paid apps and games, and you will find most of the popular daily apps on this store. I also recommend installing a anti-malware software like Avast on your smartphone and tablet to be safe from malicious apps.

Still having trouble with error 403 in Google Play Store ? These fixes arent really permanent and theyre definitely not going to work for everyone so if youve found another method or solution please help us out in the comments below.
